Pastel Batiks

This watercolor-toned table runner is made from batik fabrics in gentle shades of lavender, light blue, teal, peach, pale yellow, and mint green. The squares feature subtle leaf, floral, and abstract batik prints that blend into one another with the natural color variation of the fabrics. The runner is machine pieced and longarm quilted in a Caspian pantograph pattern. The backing is a cream print, and the binding is white, keeping the edges understated.
