Summer Blues

This baby quilt is pieced in Cluck Cluck Sew’s Woven pattern, creating an interlocking strip design using medium blue and white cotton fabrics. The small prints include kites, ducks, clouds, suns, and paper airplanes. The woven strip layout gives the quilt a basket-weave effect. The quilt is machine pieced and longarm quilted in a One Cloudy Day pantograph pattern. The backing is a colorful sailboat print.

This quilt has a fresh, summery feel and works well for tummy time, stroller trips, or as a toddler blanket.
